Military-grade encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation. Your passwords are mathematically protected.

02

Works offline

No internet required after purchase. Your data never leaves your device.

03

Password generator

Generate cryptographically random passwords with custom rules — length, symbols, and more.

04

Security dashboard

Spot weak, reused, and outdated passwords at a glance. Know your security posture.

05

Organized categories

Social, Email, Finance, Shopping, Work, Other — find what you need instantly.

06

Encrypted export/import

Backup and restore your vault as encrypted JSON. Your data, your control.

Security

Bank-grade security, explained simply.

Step 01

You enter your master password

It never leaves your device and is never stored anywhere — not even locally.

Step 02

PBKDF2 derives your encryption key

310,000 iterations of SHA-256 hashing makes brute-force attacks computationally infeasible.

Step 03

AES-256-GCM encrypts everything

Each encryption uses a fresh random IV. Even identical passwords produce different ciphertext.

Pricing

One price. Yours forever.

Competitors charge $3\u20135/month. That adds up to $36\u2013$60/year, forever. VaultKey is $19 once.

FAQ

Frequently asked.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely in your browser’s localStorage, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Zero cloud, zero servers, zero tracking. Only you have the key.

What if I forget my master password?

There is no recovery option by design — that’s what makes it secure. Write your master password on paper and store it safely.

How does the encryption work?

Your master password is run through PBKDF2 (310,000 iterations, SHA-256) to derive a 256-bit AES key. Every entry is encrypted with AES-GCM using a random IV. We use the browser’s native Web Crypto API — no third-party crypto libraries.

Can I use it on multiple devices?

Export your encrypted vault on one device and import it on another. The encryption travels with the data.

Is there a mobile app?

VaultKey is a Progressive Web App — install it on iOS or Android from your browser for a native-like experience.

What’s included in the one-time purchase?

Full vault access, all current features, all future updates, and no subscription ever. One payment, forever yours.
